Job Summary: Project Controls Specialist IV - Cost Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to lead cost management and scheduling activities for projects. The role involves developing work breakdown structures, integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules, analyzing variances, and presenting recovery plans to project management and clients. As a key contributor, you will oversee cost systems, prepare reports, and recommend solutions to mitigate schedule or cost impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project coding structures and integrated EPC schedules.
• Analyze and address schedule delays with recovery alternatives.
• Manage cost systems and generate detailed performance reports.
• Present variance analysis and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Lead project controls teams on small projects or serve as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in automated cost and scheduling systems.
• Leadership experience in cost or scheduling roles on large projects.
• Strong communication, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Leadership experience as a Control Team Lead (CTL).
• Availability for occasional travel, including internationally.

Location: Greenville, SC (office-based with potential field travel).
Salary Range: $102,000 - $184,000 (based on qualifications and experience).
